 My Personal Information and my Daily Life

About me

My name is Eliana Andrea Holguín Tapia. I am 30 years old and I live in Neiva, Huila, Colombia.

I have been married to my husband for 14 years and we have a 9-year-old daughter with a disability. We also have a pet dog.

Every day, I wake up at 6:00 a.m. and take my dog to the park. Then, I prepare breakfast for my daughter, my husband and myself. At 8:00 a.m., my daughter wakes up and I change her diaper and give her breakfast through her gastrostomy. After that, I serve breakfast for my husband and me. Later, I clean the house, bathe my daughter and then take a shower.

At noon, I cook lunch for my daughter and for us. My husband works remotely from home, so once lunch is ready, I serve it for everyone. After lunch, my daughter takes a nap. During that time, I study and work on assignments for my technical program in software testing at SENA, which I am studying virtually. This month, I have been especially busy because we are finishing the semester.

At around 4:00 p.m., I go out to ride my bike. When I get back at 5:00 p.m., I prepare my daughter's snack and feed her through the gastrostomy. Then, I take my dog and my daughter (in her wheelchair) to the park for a walk. After returning home, I play with my daughter; she loves being pampered and enjoys different sounds. Later, I prepare dinner for all of us, give my daughter her medication for her seizures (she takes it in the morning and at night), and finally, I take our dog out one last time before we go to bed.

My role as a software testing technician

As a student in the technical program in software testing, I create and review test cases, execute manual tests, and report results. I use tools like Excel to document test cases, and in the future, I plan to use Postman and Selenium for automated testing.

My family and where i live

I live in the Venecia neighborhood in Neiva, which is part of the department of Huila, Colombia. I live in a house with my husband, my daughter, and our dog. My husband works from home, so we spend a lot of time together as a family. My daughter is very loving and brings us a lot of joy. We live in a quiet neighborhood where we often go for walks in the park.
